KIDSPACE®

KIDSPACE®, which opened in 1993, is one of the Museum's most popular exhibits, especially with Museum School's® preschool-aged students.

The exhibit provides an informal atmosphere for children and families to play, explore, and learn together. During Museum construction a number of the exhibit's popular components can be found on the lower level of the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.

KIDSPACE® Components:

Toy Train
All Aboard! Pretend to be the engineer on one of our favorites from KIDSPACE. This child-sized train also offers a mini train set to enjoy with friends and family.

Build a Museum
What does the future hold for the new Fort Worth Museum of Science and History? Play atop the giant floor plan, put on your construction gear, and help us build the new museum! (For even more building fun, create your own skyscraper using KEVA® blocks in the nearby Hands On Studio.)

KIDSPACE® Market
Like a typical grocery store, children can select food for the evening meal, be checkout clerks who scan purchases, or play the role of sackers. After they finish shopping, children can even roll their carts across to a "parking lot" and unload their groceries into one of three pretend cars.

Discovery Table - Manipluatives, puzzles and activties that encourage imagination are available on a special child sized table.

Build-A-House
In Build-A-House, children can learn together through dramatic play and solving problems related to counting, organizing, and creating settings of blocks, and canvas.
