Girls Dream Big at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History
Saturday, May 13 | 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Throughout history, women in engineering like Edith Clarke, the first women to earn an Electrical Engineering degree from MIT, and Kate Gleason, the first female member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, have worked to normalize women in the engineering field. Yet, women still make up only 20% of students in undergraduate engineering programs. Help us change that by experiencing engineering with the girls in your life at Girls Dream Big at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.

Girls Dream Big is an activity packed afternoon combining hands-on engineering challenges, a screening of Dream Big: Engineering Our World, an IMAX film, which features three powerful female engineering role models, and a short roundtable session where girls and professional women engineers share snacks while the engineers answer questions about the engineering featured in the film and their own STEM-based careers.

Most appropriate for middle and high school girls.

This event is free but limited to 150 guests, so registration is required. Register here.
