iMake: Maker Fest

Saturday, April 1: 10 am - 4 pm

Join us for this fantastic festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and celebrate the Maker Movement.

Here are just a few of the experiences planned:

Local Makers: Meet inventive, creative and resourceful Makers.

Eclectic Electrical Experiences: Learn how to build popsicle stick flashlights, motorized balancing sculptures and more.

Explore 3D Printers: Don’t miss the printers of the future.

Smart Phone Holograms: Turn your smart phone into a 3D hologram viewer.

Make Your Own 3D Art: Use different colors to turn your drawing into a 3D masterpiece.

Be a Maker: Try hands-on projects and activities throughout the Museum.

Roving Robots: Meet amazing roboticists, and check out their latest creations.

All activities are included with paid exhibit admission.

Activities are offered on a rotating basis.

A typical large format (aka IMAX) 45-minute film costs about 6 million dollars to make.
